1994 GSX600F not starting

I'm having a little trouble with my gsxf600. It is showing no signs at all of trying to start, it just cranks over.

So I'll give you the full story. IBought a 1994 GSX600F, that had not been started in at least 2 years. Managed to have it turning over the next day. Removed carbs to find the mixture screws on carbs 3 &4 had been drilled in an effort to remove. Ive bought a full carb set and trial fitted, couldn't fit the tank properly so I used a small container and it started and ran for a few secs but the carbs leaked badly. Removed carbs, replaced seals and reset float heights to factory along with setting the mix screws to manual settings of 2 turns out. Re fit the carbs and connected up the fuel lines. Primed the carbs, this time no leaks. But then it wouldn't start at all. I then removed the carbs again and changed the mix screws to 2.5 turns out, re fit and tried again to no avail. I'm definitely getting spark and the vac lines are linked up. Fuel is fresh and petcock is set to prime.

did you check the airflow? if you have too much air into your mixture it wont start that easy. also make sure to adjust the choke.

I've tried using the choke in different positions but with no luck

try starting with brake cleaner only to check whether ignition is working at all
